Suburban Steve
A regular in Suburban Hockey School classes since 1974, Suburban Steve is a lifelong student of the game. Steve works very hard at power skating as he knows that skating is to hockey what reading is to learning; the better a player skates, the faster he or she will be able to develop other skills. While he is an excellent playmaker and loves nothing more than making “thread the needle” passes to set up teammates for goals, Steve also loves to bury the biscuit himself and has put in plenty of hours of practice to develop an accurate, laser-like shot. Not just an offensive threat, he also plays stifling, shut-down defense and is a valuable leader for his team on and off the ice.
